We are currently looking for a proactive and results-oriented Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, leadership capabilities, and be ready to take on the challenges of a glass production environment.
What would we appreciate about you?
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Economic Engineering (or similar technical field).
Proven experience in an industrial/production environment is a plus.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
Prior experience coordinating a team is highly desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
English language skills (minimum B2 level); Romanian language is required.
Willingness and availability to work in shifts.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the full production process during your shift. You’ll work closely with technical teams to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and product quality, while managing a team of operators and coordinating with departments across the organization.
As a Shift Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to:
Coordinate production processes and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Supervise and monitor the technological flow, including sorting machines, packing lines, and shrinking equipment.
Ensure performance indicators are met to achieve production goals.
Intervene alongside the furnace supervisor in case of faults or defects.
Manage and train production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Oversee light maintenance activities performed by operators.
Offer support in preventing and resolving non-compliance issues.
Identify and implement process optimization solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste (energy, water, raw materials).
Prepare regular reports on production performance and line output.
Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments to improve performance and reduce costs.
