Senior Financial Controller

• University degree, preferably economic studies;
• 6-10 years of previous relevant experience;
• In-depth knowledge in the areas of controlling, reporting, financial analysis or accounting (tax is a plus);
• Positive, energetic, forward-thinking, independent and collaborator;
• Analytical, comfortable to work with numbers;
• Good communicator;
• Excellent Excel skills;
• Fluency in English language (B2-C1);
• Ideally, IFRS knowledge and experience;
• Preferably ACCA finalized or in progress.

• Monitor financial performance of portfolio companies in order to provide insight to help decision-making;
• Participate in the preparation of the quarterly and annual reports;
• Prepare and review stand-alone and consolidated financial statements for the holding company (Roca Investments SA) and for the construction materials holding company listed on Aero (Roca Industry);
• Provides support in transition to IFRS reporting standards;
• Identifies automation initiatives to remove mundane tasks;
• Point of contact for auditors and other relevant third parties;
• Support the annual budgeting process;
• Identifies opportunities for cost reduction and profit maximization;
• Provides support with one-off projects (raising finance via bonds, IPO, covenants computation, analyse business plans of potential new investments).
