Candidatul Ideal

Qualifications:
  • University decree in business administration
  • Expert in taxes, finance and accounting, knowledge of the respectiveRomanian laws and regulations
  • Experience in managing and developing employees
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of common software and SUN system
  • Fluent in English and Romanian

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring that transactions are timely and accurately booked as per Romanian statutory accounting requirements and in compliance with the Company internal policies
  • Checking and processing data related to monthly payroll calculation, verification of the accuracy of monthly payroll and performing salary payments correctly and timely
  • Preparation of the annual and half year financial statements and verification of related tax returns
  • Monthly reporting to the foreign owner
  • Statistics and National Bank reporting
  • Monthly closure of accounts
  • Monitor new fiscal regulations and support for the preparation of monthly fiscal statements:
  • Prepare yearly budget and service charge calculation
  • Coordination of the inventory of assets
  • Maintain relationship with auditors (internal and external) and other control bodies and preparation of the reports needed for their reviews including corporate sustainability reporting and the transfer pricing reporting
  • Monitoring of collections
  • Performing payments
  • Maintain relationship with the banks and support treasury tasks
  • Maintain relationship with the hotel management (Marriott) for the timely and correct reporting of transactions as well day to day operations
  • Ensure compliance in relation to the hotel management agreement (Marriott)
  • Monitoring and checking of the petty cash operations
  • Participation in projects implementation within Finance Department (e.g. SUN system development, reports development, etc.) and update of the accounting IT system with the legal requirements
  • Preparing reports for management as requested
  • Increasing the level of digitalization
