Responsibilities:
- Monitoring that transactions are timely and accurately booked as per Romanian statutory accounting requirements and in compliance with the Company internal policies
- Checking and processing data related to monthly payroll calculation, verification of the accuracy of monthly payroll and performing salary payments correctly and timely
- Preparation of the annual and half year financial statements and verification of related tax returns
- Monthly reporting to the foreign owner
- Statistics and National Bank reporting
- Monthly closure of accounts
- Monitor new fiscal regulations and support for the preparation of monthly fiscal statements:
- Prepare yearly budget and service charge calculation
- Coordination of the inventory of assets
- Maintain relationship with auditors (internal and external) and other control bodies and preparation of the reports needed for their reviews including corporate sustainability reporting and the transfer pricing reporting
- Monitoring of collections
- Performing payments
- Maintain relationship with the banks and support treasury tasks
- Maintain relationship with the hotel management (Marriott) for the timely and correct reporting of transactions as well day to day operations
- Ensure compliance in relation to the hotel management agreement (Marriott)
- Monitoring and checking of the petty cash operations
- Participation in projects implementation within Finance Department (e.g. SUN system development, reports development, etc.) and update of the accounting IT system with the legal requirements
- Preparing reports for management as requested
