8x8, Inc. is looking for a EMEA Compensation Program Specialist in our Cluj-Napoca, Romania offices. In this role you will report directly to the VP of Total Rewards & HR Operations. We are at a pivotal point in our growth journey and this means that we need rock stars who will drive leading edge programs. This position requires strong leadership skills with the ability to provide hands on compensation program management – globally. This role will be critical to the success of HR programs that will help pivot 8x8 toward greater levels of growth and success.

Responsibilities:
-Contribute to the design, delivery and execution of our base and short-term incentives
-Translate the strategy and vision of our rewards programs into concrete project plans
-Work directly with and partner with HR colleagues to deliver world class solutions to our internal customers
-Exercise judgment in selecting techniques and evaluation criteria in completing analysis, in reporting key findings and in developing solutions/ recommendations
-Consistently handle difficult situations and work in partnership with colleagues in other regions to ensure a globally consistent approach to meet local market needs
-Provide education/training that will improve compensation decision making
-Participate in or drive the successful completion of the annual compensation cycle, including the cash and equity focal processes and quarterly equity grants. This also includes completing the design of salary structures and equity guidelines as well as testing and rollout of compensation decision making tools and process
-Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes to the extent that it drives greater levels of proactive customer management
-Supporting various HR Projects at a global level

Requirements:
-3+ years of progressive experience in compensation program management
-Experience working in the fast-paced world of technology is preferred
-Experience conducting education/training for management and non-management audiences
-Stellar analytical skills, including an expertise in Excel
-BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Economics or other quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
-Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement, efficiency, and the ability to find and execute creative solutions
-Excellent written and spoken English language skills
