The Finance team of TELUS International Europe is a fully-fledged finance division of the leading BPO provider in Romania and Bulgaria – TELUS International. The division consists of 15 professionals (located in Bucharest and Sofia) with combined finance and accounting expertise. Our financials are audited by a Big 4 auditor, we partner with 4 large international banks and operate in a global company with a footprint on 3 continents.
This is what we are looking for in the right candidate:
-Fluency in English
-Advanced skills in Excel
-University degree in Accounting and/or Finance
-Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (regardless of industry, BPO would be an advantage though)
-Good knowledge of the Romanian accounting and tax legislation
-Advanced analytical, organizational and communication skills

-Manage fixed assets and yearly inventory reconciliation
-Booking of monthly payroll statement
-Monthly bookings for accruals (i.e. holidays provisions)
-Monthly preparation of VAT declaration & VAT Purchase and Sales Journals
-Posting of monthly depreciation & amortization costs
-Monthly reevaluation of all the balance-sheet accounts for month-end closing purposes
-Participates in month-end closing process
-Preparation of monthly cash-flow report
-Statistical reporting to local authorities
-Participation to Annual Audit process;
-The role reports directly to the TELUS International Europe - Accounting Manager Romania
