Candidatul ideal

The candidate should have experience/knowledge in the following areas:
File system operation/maintenance and troubleshooting (knowledge of GPFS is a major plus)
Operating Systems configuration/troubleshooting (VMware and Linux (RHEL / SLES)
Storage Knowledge (either development work or installation)
Networking (Ethernet) - would be a plus
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Bachelor Degree/College Diploma
At least 1 years experience in Knowledge of Complete data center and networking (Ethernet).
At least 2 years experience in storage troubleshooting / problem analysis skill (GPFS knowledge is a plus).

Project Description:

Solutions/Technical Support Engineer in the support of various external client sites throughout the US and globally, to provide in-depth expertise in on SAP HANA Appliance based solutions.

Primarily support all SAP HANA solutions including understanding of IBM/Lenovo systems.
Must be able to perform technical L1, L2 and L3 troubleshooting to determine root cause of software or hardware issues. Must have knowledge in Servers debug; interact with Ethernet switches, configuring ports setting. Understanding of DHCP, DNS, TFTP, FTP and other related protocols, Raid controllers and Ethernet switches.

Responsibilities:

•Can perform analysis and diagnosis of system and storage issues.
•Reviews and provides recommendations on system and storage designs.
•Sets up simulated system and storage in test labs to resolve all levels of complex problems and interoperability issues.
•Modifies and reconfigures components within the solutions to meet Customer's business needs and requirements.
•Leverages and contributes to local as well as Virtual Teams.
•Collaborates with specialized technical support teams(GPFS/HANA/Hardware) to facilitate fast response to customer issues
•Always contributes on process improvements.
•Can provide onsite as well as remote design, deployment or maintenance support.
•Can perform analysis and provides recommendations on problems. Collaborate with other departments to lead those recommendations.
•Documents product related technical tips and other documentation including detailed test plan for complex deployments
