FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
* A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering/business/marketing field, Master’s degree preferred;
* Significant experience in sales or account management;
* Demonstrable business acumen and experience with a Reliability Solutions or industry background;
* Ability to empower and lead teams in a role of influence;
* Strong achiever mindset with an ability to work in a complex matrix organisation;
* Commercial savvy in combination with strong process control knowledge & technical competence;

By joining us as a Sales Manager Europe for Emerson’s Field Communicators (AMS Trex) you will have the opportunity to develop and lead the execution of sales strategies, which will drive profitable growth of the Reliability Solutions (RS) Field Communicators (FC) in Europe - the main product is AMS Trex Field Communicator (for more information on the product please visit our website).
This will be achieved by working in close collaboration with the current European Reliability Solutions Sales Director, Sales Leaders, local Sales Engineers for Plant Asset Management (PAM), and other relevant stakeholders from different Emerson Business Units.
We are counting on you to be the interface between the European local Sales Engineers and the Reliability Solutions Headquarters. It requires tight coordination with the Product Development, Marketing and the Product Management Group. It also requires close coordination with Finance ensuring the solutions have the right cost / profit profile to justify creating the necessary derivative products and solutions.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
* Work in close partnership with AMS Device Manager local Sales Engineers to promote the fitted instrumentation management solution (PlantWeb Digital Ecosystem, AMS Device Manager and Field Communicators);
* Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Reliability Solutions Field Communicator Business;
* Provide timely Sales Forecast and other relevant information to support effective business management;
* Participate in developing goals and targets for the European Field Communicator Sales as well as identifying sufficient training and support implementation;
* Support and drive forming and maintaining business relationships with Customers, Partners, and Suppliers that help deliver long term growth for the business;
* Develop and handle Alternative Distribution Channels (ADC);
* Support budget setting and own reporting for the Field Communicator business as required;
* Support the development and maintain effective sales management processes as appropriate with the team and country sales leadership for the Field Communicator business;
* Support proposal and order administration activities;
* Give direction to Marketing on required marketing collateral and marketing communication;
* Develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives, tailored to European needs (Execution via Integrated Marketing);
* Product line management through product positioning and portfolio management;
* Product management: define local European needs and push Product Development and Factory to build new features and improve product quality
* Closely supervise volume and price/discount trends; develop price programs and manage associated processes;
* Deliver sales trainings; value propositions, sales tools, promotional material, best practices etc;
* Market research: market segmentation, sizes, participation rates, growth rates etc;
* Develop competitive displacement strategies and tools.
