REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Solid experience in managing teams, planning and coordinating activities
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate the teams, create efficiency and deliver on time in a fast-paced work environment
  • Minimum 7+ years of software testing experience (preferably in web platforms), with 3+ years of experience as team lead or manager
  • Proficiency in software testing techniques, testing tools, incident/defect tracking systems and other test-support tools
  • Experience in testing of Back-end/Front-end and Android/iOS applications
  • Strong experience with test automation framework, tool development and scripting (Selenium and Appium)
  • Hands-on Programming skills in common languages, such as Java, PHP, Javascript
  • Knowledge of Scrum/Agile software development process
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Experience with Atlassian products like JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, coordination skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change priorities
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field
  • Advanced degrees preferred
    • ISTQB foundation level
    • ISTQB Advanced level

We are looking for a reliable Manager of Quality Assurance to help successfully build, lead, and manage a functional and technical QA team with a strong sense of quality ownership. As well as ensuring all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers. You will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues.

The ideal candidate must have knowledge in programming languages to implement strategies for automation testing and day to day work processes like agile and scrum.
The candidate is a reliable and competent professional whose approval will be necessary for the continuation of a business life cycle.

The goal is to assure the high quality of our operations and services aiming to the long-term success of our business. We operate for 15 years, successful gaming websites with various verticals such as Sport Betting, Casino, Poker.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading and Guiding the QA team towards a culture of quality and performance by providing both leadership and technical guidance.
  • Defining quality standards, KPIs and metrics for the current projects/products.
  • Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final outcomes.
  • Working with all stakeholders (Product/Project/Development and Management) to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed and agreed upon.
  • Assess/foresee the need of the projects in terms of capacity and knowledge. Plan and allocate resources based on the need.
  • Make the QA team aware of the roadmaps and plans for their projects, and involve the team to achieve roadmap goals.
  • Provide support to the team for estimating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling test activities.
  • Create milestones and checkpoints and set measurable criterias to check the quality on a timely basis.
  • Minimize the number of bugs found in production, plan and apply strategy to achieve.
  • Enhance and enforce procedures and processes (Test Plan/ Test Case create/review, phases of testing cycle)
  • Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.
  • Work closely on the deadlines of the projects.
  • Ensure the team is focusing on automation along with manual testing.
  • Keep raising the bar and standards of all the quality processes with every project.
  • Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation

LEADERSHIP

  • Evaluate the team and choose the right number and skill set of resources for the project teams.
  • Analyze the skill set of the team and create a development plan for individual team members.
  • Motivating team and taking informative quick decisions.
  • Coordinate activities which enforce quality improvements
  • Resolving conflicts among team members.
  • Ensure that the highly motivated environment is created in the team.
  • Ensure that rewards are given for each achievement in the team.

MANAGING RISKS

  • Understanding and defining areas to calculate the overall risk to the project.
  • Creating strategies to mitigate those risks and take necessary measures to control the risks.
  • Informing all the stakeholders for the various risks
  • Create backup plans for all the testing strategies.
  • Have team meetings at appropriate times to understand & review the current risks and motivate the team to resolve the same.
