Procurement Specialist

Our next buyer will:

• have at least 1 years of procurement experience in a Manufacturing/Electronic/Electronics environment
• Has a basic understanding of the technical process and their impact on procurement
• be a data nerd
• have knowledge of MS Office, GSuite
• be able to form strong relationships with our teams and stakeholders
• have good communication skills and attention to details
• have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Your job in a nutshell:

You will help the procurement team to control the day to day purchasing whilst ensuring the supply of goods is managed effectively, efficiently and at the lowest possible cost.

What will you do?

You will

• Evaluate and approve the commercial suitability of parts and processes that are intended for series production at the earliest possible point in the product development process
• Obtain supplier cost estimates for parts in quantities that suit the requirements of expected future prototype builds and provide to project teams
• Assist departments with following purchasing procedures, as well as following up on their orders to ensure that deliveries are timely
• Maintain contact with suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions of purchase
• Collect data on supplier performance
• Maintain databases of suppliers and partners, as well as their historical records in our partnerships
• Maintain technical reference files for all bought components and related suppliers
• Handle special project research for the department
• Follow up buying process and update the buying status
