We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to be part of Saipem Romania HR Team!

Requirements for this role:

  • At least 5 years in a similar position
  • Experience with processing and validating the payroll
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Romanian Labor Law - Mandatory condition
  • True HR System – preferable
  • Experience to work with a payroll external provider
  • Fluent in English language

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise personnel management and administration activities, including drafting of the employment contract, according to national and international laws, labor agreements and trade union agreements
  • Replace the HR Administration position when it’s needed
  • Ensure the management/recording of attendances/absences of personnel (overtime, sickness, holidays etc.)
  • Check the monthly Time sheets in the Time and Attendance System
  • Ensure monthly salary calculations, bonuses, including new hires and terminations
  • Send to the payroll external provider the correct files for salary calculation purpose
  • Check the Input and Output for payroll calculations
  • Delivering monthly pay slips
  • Carry out fiscal and social security obligations
  • Complete the files for recovering amounts from National Insurance House/Local Unemployment Agency
  • Ensure the availability of the appropriate files for the accounting of personnel costs
  • Ensure the correct reporting and accounting of assignment costs
  • Support and assist resources and department managers in the correct management of workplace conditions relations (working hours, trade union and contract rights, pay, etc.)
  • Supervise the uploading of information to company IT systems and guarantee the correctness and availability of data regarding resources
  • Process the standard hourly rates for personnel
  • Elaborate the personnel hourly standard rates
  • Provide labor cost estimations for bids and other company activities when required
  • Process and analyze the actual, forecast and balance sheet labor cost
  • Provide HR reporting
  • Ensure the fulfilment of all obligations and disclosures required by law with external bodies, as well as relations with the local authorities, including in the event of inspections on work-related issues
  • Ensure consistent application of guidelines, policies and procedures related to human resources
  • Support with employment issues related to judicial and non-judicial cases
  • Fill in the files for salary surveys
  • Support and cooperate with the external Audit team
  • Conduct the disciplinary actions if needed
