THE REQUIREMENTS
You have 3+ years of prior work experience as an operations manager
Make something people want: you understand that any work done in the early stages of a company requires a deep customer understanding
Passion - you care about sustainability & logistics and want to build something meaningful
Context-switching & multi-tasking - ability to efficiently juggle concurrent and unrelated technical and non-technical tasks
Value-add mindset - ability to identify work that is going to add immediate business value for our customers
Communication skills - ability to communicate comfortably with technical and non-technical persons alike, internally and externally
Stress-resistance: you don’t freak out immediately if things don’t go according to plan
You love working in a small (yet quickly growing) team
The ability to spend up to 5 days per week in our office in Bucharest.
Being fluent in English.

THE ROLE
As an Operations Manager you will be working as an integral part of our ambitious and purpose-driven team in direct communication with the founders and team. You will leverage your skills to design scalable operational processes.
Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership of the function, ensuring robust processes, plans and controls are in place and that all activities are executed in line with high standards. The Operations Manager has broad leadership accountability within the business. There are a number of sub-functions in Operations and will continuously seek to optimize the team, the processes, and the systems in order to scale the function:
1. Operations Management – lead the Operations function with Operations Plans and strong governance (policies, frameworks, registers, and procedures). Ensure KPI’s and appropriate MI are in place to enable decision making. The Operations Manager will also lead and manage multiple cross functional and organizational projects.
2. Operations Compliance – The Operations Manager will ensure that all Operations functions are carried out in a manner compliant with the policies of the business with an evidence-based approach in place for ensuring AML legislative compliance.
3. Product Strategy – actively participate in key product orientations through research, effort sizing and project management projection
4. The ability to be confident with a high amount of ambiguity and change is mandatory. You should feel comfortable interacting with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, who all have different needs. You will be expected to independently manage yourself and your work whilst being able to communicate and justify the decisions you have made to the team clearly and concisely.
5. Product Strategy – actively participate in key product orientations through research, effort sizing and project management projection

3. Expansion: launching ProfiCircle operations in new countries and cities
In the next 6 months, you will mainly be working on the following:
You will have the responsibility (and agency) to shape how we operate on a daily basis, paving to way for long-term sustainable growth
You will be defining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for a multitude of processes
You will be talking to internal and external users to gather invaluable feedback
You will be expected to constantly back up your decisions with data
You will be responsible for constantly tracking operational performance in order to double-down on winning strategies whilst adjusting quickly in case things don’t work out as intended
You will work closely with business and product to create a truly unique delivery experience for every single one of our customers
