We would like you to have:
  • University degree in relevant field (e.g. engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, business management etc.);
  • Have minimum 10 years experience in Telecommunications industry
  • Excellent knowledge of systems, software, technologies, communications and suppliers to support business operations
  • Strong communication skills and able to communicate effectively on technical and business issues both internally and externally
  • Strong people management and technical skills
  • Innovative thinker - able to turn customer requirements into workable solutions
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexible but methodical and thorough approach - process oriented
  • Solid leadership skills are essential, together with being able to communicate ideas to technical staff, academic staff and the School Board with equal clarity
  • Experience in the management of the actual delivery of ICT services
  • Relevant IT qualifications.

Coordinates ICT services and infrastructure ensuring that the organisation has the required infrastructural resources.
They also plan and monitor stages of either a business process or a computer process, negotiate contracts and take
mitigation action in case of non-fulfilment of agreements.
  • Work with the ICT Director and the wider ICT team on the specification, design, development and implementation of the ICT strategy to support the aims and objectives of the business.
  • Lead the ICT service implementation process and all related activities (e.g. procurements) in close coordination with ICT management and other stakeholders;
  • Manage assigned ICT contracts with focus on efficient ICT service delivery based on formal SLAs and assigned budget;
  • Define and monitor service level agreements, KPIs and other service parameters to monitor the performance of the service(s);
  • Identify, manage, mitigate and report on risks associated with the use of ICT services throughout the business.
  • Any other task as may be defined by the ICT Director to meet the operational needs of the business.
