Live in Care Work - UK - Sponsorship Available

Our client is looking for friendly staff to work within a Live in Carer capacity.

• A min of 2 years previous live in care/healthcare experience is required ideally. Experience of looking after family members may count, as will experience in a variety of care settings, such as live in, community or residential, elderly / LD and other areas so if you can demonstrate some kind of care experience please do apply.
• Good levels of English, both spoken and written
• Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is required in terms of location of placements
• Sensitive nature, able to remain calm under pressure
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Confident and calm nature
• A genuine interest to care and support service users in their day to day lives
• Able to provide documentation if success ( such as police check, recommendations, IELTS)
• Able to pay employee Visa costs ( this will be direct to the Home Office - can be discussed at interview stage)

Our client is looking to recruit experienced Carers to work in a Live In Carer role
You will either have Live in Care experience or other Healthcare experience, ie Nurse, Hospital, Care Home , all settings considered.
Flexibility is given in working schedules, for example some employees like to work 6-8 weeks with a two break, others prefer to work three weeks, then have one week off. This can be discussed at interview stage.


Responsibilities:

• Offer a regular and reliable helping hand throughout the day
• Personal hygiene assistance including bathing/showering/toilet
• Help with going to bed at night and getting up in the morning
• Medication tasks and support complex care needs where required
• Preparing meals and drinks
• Tidying up, vacuuming, washing up, changing beds, doing laundry and general housekeeping
• Being a friend by chatting, watching tv and helping them continue to do all the things they love and lead the life they wish

Benefits:

• Min of £21,000 to £24,000 per annum. This is the basic rate and full details explained at interview stage.
• Tier 2 Visa / Sponsorship if required and full support in obtaining this. Initially for 3 yr period.
