Lead Lighting Engineer

To succeed you will need:

• University degree in the field of Optics, Mathematics or Physics
• 5+ experience with optics design (CATIA) and simulations, or other relevant experience in this field, either in the position of Optics Engineer or with lighting technology
• Advanced English, as you will be in touch with foreign customers and work with an international team
• Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, problem-solving attitude, good organizational skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

As Lead Lighting Engineer you will be responsible for the whole project (production of headlamps). You will coordinate a project team of optics engineers and optics technicians, and will also act as an intermediary between the customers and the project team. You will oversee the entire concept development (testing of prototypes and product optimization). You will support your project team with your problem-solving attitude, and cooperate with the System Manager and/or the Head of Optics.You will be working in a hybrid mode and will be expected to travel. You will be based in either Ostrava or Mohelnice, Czech Republic.
