Lead Engineer Development, Arad

Client Description:

Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for its client, an important company from Automotive Industry, a Lead Engineer Development located in Arad.

Responsibilities:

· The Lead Engineer (Team Leader) leads the system integration of all component assemblies in the scope of a development project with higher complexity (concerning new system/components, various vehicles, and/or international production sites);

· Are responsible for the implementation of customer specifications and assurance of reaching the technical levels of maturity in development, internally as well as to the customer;

· Drafting technical concepts and their validations;

· Developing and managing the design of the complete system including prototypes (if necessary);

· Carrying out Design Reviews to ensure function, construction and quality of the complete system taking all specialized departments into account;

· Coordinating interfaces within the roof system as well as the vehicle body;

· Verifying and validating modules in the scope of DVP and the use of CAE (FEM);

· Continual improvement and implementation of Lessons Learned (Challenge Master).

Qualifications:

· Technical training + further professional training + additional qualifications or technical degree;

· Few years of development experience, preferably in the automotive field;

· Experience with responsibility as a Lead Engineer in at least 2 complex development projects;

· Business skills preferable;

· Presentation and media competence;

· Basic professional leadership experience with an interdisciplinary team;

· Confident communication skills, confident manner with the Customer;

· Willingness to travel internationally;

· Good knowledge of development processes in the Automotive Industry;

· Good English language skills.
