Candidatul ideal

As the successful candidate, you will provide 1st line remote support across our client's internal user community and act as a single point of contact for all our client's technical queries.

From our client's perspective, you will be the "go to" person that helps them promptly reinstate their IT systems and services with minimal impact to their business. This will be achieved via advice, incident resolution and service request fulfilment.

More Details You will report directly to our existing Support Lead who will coach and mentor you as you familiarise yourself with your responsibilities.

Passionate and enthusiastic about a future career in professional software testing, you will have the opportunity to acquire all the skills needed to transition/build a long term career in IT quality assurance. Key Responsibilities Your role will include a mix of the following: First Line Support

  • Answering all incoming calls 09:00 to 18:00.
  • Logging technical issues.
  • Proactive follow up of issue status & resolution with affected parties.
Incident Management
  • Work with the QA Manager and Development Team to understand, fix and resolve issues.
  • Work with the Product Manager to recommend potential enhancements.
Service Management
  • Coordinate internal and external IT suppliers to resolve client issues.
  • Proactively create and maintain technical documentation.
Soft Skills The successful candidate will have excellent telephone manner and a good level of spoken and written English. Attention to details is a must. Previous Experience Previous experience with an IT company is not necessary, however the candidate must be able to demonstrate that they are a fast learner with a good working knowledge of computer systems and software. Bonus Preference will be given to candidates with any of the following experience:
  • Understanding of QA process and methodology.
  • Understanding of the Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Understanding of the SDLC and STLC.
  • Ability to adjust test approach within existing application or testing environments when issues occur.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, communicate, and resolve generalized system, data, and/or application issues.
  • Any previous experience with Atlassian Jira / Confluence.
  • Any previous experience creating test plans/test cases.
