TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working with various technologies, such as Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, System Center Operations Manager and Configuration Manager;
  • extensive knowledge of the following operating systems: Windows Server, Windows, Linux and MacOS;
  • extensive knowledge of network infrastructure;
  • extensive knowledge of network architecture: TCP/IP, IPSEC, VPN, DMZ.
  • Confluence Jira Administration knowledge is plus
  • proficiency in English language.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily maintenance of the IT Office network;
  • Register and solve inquiries, incidents, or issues by means of the available tools;
  • Administrate users, applications, roles, rights and VPN access and troubleshoots issues that might appear;
  • Identify, analyze, and register hardware, software and infrastructure issues;
  • if required, install patches, updates and renewals of installations and compatibility testing;
  • choose the appropriate solution for solving issues (testing, replacing, repairing);
  • keep track of dysfunctionalities solving methods;
  • prepare and hand over the equipment to the users together with the corresponding documentation;
  • set up new equipment (assemble systems, install OS, drivers, software and peripheral devices);
  • test and digitally register new equipment
  • keep track of IT inventory (both office and Employee equipments)
  • Handle Employee onboarding and leave process from IT point of view (equipment tracking and account creation/suspension)
  • create and test new methods of improving and increasing productivity of the information system;
  • investigate hardware issues both on Employee workstations and office assets (server, router, wifi AP, switch, printer, scanners, etc.);
  • contact service providers to solve equipment issues;
  • renewal of voice and data network diagram;
  • observe the SLA agreed with internal and external customers;
  • act as consultant for users on software-related matters and ;
  • train users in case of system changes (installing new applications, version changes in existing applications, security policy changes, changes in access paths to various resources);
  • ensures assistance in case of technical malfunctions;
  • communicates efficiently with the users in regard to deployments affecting temporarily their activity;
  • if needed, restores emergency back-up copies.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • communicate with other departments to decide the necessary hardware and software equipment in case of new employees, installing and uninstalling applications, software upgrade or obsolete hardware;
  • document required hardware and software and evaluating the corresponding costs;
  • keep a centralized documentation of the existing hardware and software;
  • maintain contact with hardware and software providers and research new providers;
  • proposes and acts as consultant for hardware / software orders, tracks the delivery status once order is made
  • document drivers and technical manuals for the equipment;
  • document safety back-ups (license support, installed applications and important data);
  • allocate according to necessity the existing hardware and software;
  • keep track of the solutions applied in solving various issues of equipment in warranty period;
  • keep track of the process of fixing equipment outside of the warranty period.
