The Immigration Specialist will work closely with Service and Resource Managers, Accountant, Field Service Coordinators and with other Immigration team members, as well as Consulate/Government officers and Immigration attorneys while conducting daily activities.
Essential Function
Work with Service Managers, stakeholders, and clients to complete work permit, residency and/or visa requirements
Ensure all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas, are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Coordinate with third parties regarding documentation needs
Communicate with various government agencies for certification legalization, translation, etc. of documents
Initiate cases with outside counsel when necessary
Process Visa and work permits when applicable
Maintain immigration files for employees
Update internal systems with appropriate passport and visa information
Track Visa and work permit progress through the Immigration “Work queue” and maintain accurate data in accordance with the Immigration Department’s guidelines
Track costs relative to immigration (T&L, legalization, translation, etc.)
Perform other duties as assigned
