Academic technical studies (Bacelor in Engineering)
Course in the field of occupational safety and health with a duration of at least 80 hours;
Graduation with a diploma or graduation certificate, as the case may be, of a postgraduate education program in the field of occupational safety and health, with a duration of at least 240 hours;
Excellent knowledge of general and specific legislation of LP (Labor Protection)
Computer operation knowledge: Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point);
Knowledge of English language; Turkish language may be a plus;
Clarity and coherence in written and oral expression;
Good planning and organization;
Stress resistance and flexibility;
Team leadership skills.

-Assessing the risks regarding the safety and health of the employees and elaborating a plan and the prevention and protection instructions, depending on the particularities of the activity carried out.
- Elaboration of own instructions for the application of HSS norms depending on the particularities of the work processes in the organization, on the number of employees, on the risks of accidents and occupational diseases.
- Checking the way in which the legislative regulations in force and the norms regarding the prevention of fire risks, the protection of the employees' health and the protection of the environment are applied. - Ensures the obtaining of the operating license from the point of view of HSS before starting any activity, meaning that it will prepare, redact, obtain or coordinate the activity in order to obtain all the necessary documentation provided by law for the HSS operating license.
- Ensures the formation and functioning of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee.
- Proposes for the workers, through the job description, their attributions and responsibilities in the field of HSS corresponding to their position.
- Elaborates, fulfills, monitors and updates the prevention and protection plan composed of technical, sanitary, organizational and other measures, based on risk assessment.
- Develops own instructions for completing and / or applying occupational safety and health regulations, taking into account the particularities of activities and the unit / enterprise, as well as jobs / workstations, and disseminates these instructions in the enterprise and / or unit only after they have been approved by the employer.
- Checks the acquisition and application by all workers of the measures provided in the prevention and protection plan, of their own instructions, as well as of the attributions and responsibilities they have in the field of HSS established by the job description.
- Elaborates topics for all phases of training, establishes, in writing, the periodicity of appropriate training for each job in its own instructions, ensures information and training of workers in the field of safety and health at work and verifies the acquisition and application by workers of information received.
- Prepares the annual LP(labor protection) program, organizes and arranges the first aid points within the entire company.
- Ensures the control and observance of the legislative regulations in force regarding Occupational Safety and Health, Fire Prevention and Extinguishing and Environmental Protection by all employees, according to Law no. 319/2006.
- Ensures the identification of hazards and risk assessment for the safety and health of workers, including the choice of work equipment, chemicals or preparations used and the arrangement of jobs, taking into account the nature of the company's activities.
- Ensures the taking of measures established by the employer for the protection of risk-sensitive groups (pregnant, lactating or breastfeeding women, young people, people with disabilities).
- Ensures the preparation of the action plan in case of serious and imminent danger and the training of all workers for its application.
- Keeps track of high and specific risk areas.
- Establishes the areas that require HSS signaling as well as the type of signaling required and the location according to the legal provisions.
- Keeps track of the trades and professions provided by the specific legislation, for which it is necessary to authorize their exercise.
- Keeps track of jobs that require additional medical examinations.
- Keeps track of jobs that, on the recommendation of the occupational physician, require skill testing and / or periodic psychological control.
- Monitors the operation of protection systems and devices, measuring and control equipment, as well as ventilation installations or other installations for the control of pollutants in the work environment.
- Checks the operation status of the alarm, warning, emergency signaling systems, as well as the safety systems.
- Carries out internal controls at workplaces, informing, in writing, the employer on the deficiencies found and on the measures proposed to remedy them.
- Takes appropriate measures so that, in high and specific risk areas, access is allowed only to workers who have received and mastered the appropriate instructions.
- Ensures conditions for each worker to receive sufficient and adequate training in the field of HSS, especially in the form of information and work instructions, specific to his job and position.
- Prepares the necessary documentation for technical information and training of workers in the field of HSS.
- Elaborates the training-testing program at the unit level.

- Participates in the communication and research of events, recording and keeping track of work accidents and dangerous incidents, signaling, research, declaration and reporting of occupational diseases.
- Prepares: The unique register of evidence of work accidents, the unique register of evidence of dangerous incidents, the unique register of evidence of minor accidents, the unique register of evidence of work accidents resulting in incapacity for work for more than 3 working days.
- Continuously controls the way of observing / applying the norms of safety and health at work.
- It proposes sanctions and stimulant for workers, on the criterion of fulfilling the obligations and attributions in the field of safety and health at work.
- Identifies the necessary personal protective equipment and prepares the necessary equipment for workers with personal protective equipment.
- Keeps records of work equipment and ensure that periodic checks and, where appropriate, periodic tests of work equipment are performed by competent persons.
- Prepares the intervention plan in order to Prevent and Extinguish Fires for all work points in the company.
- Coordinates the intervention and evacuation activities in situations of imminent danger, disasters, accident situations and performs the first research on the causes and circumstances of their occurrence.
- Alerts the intervention factors, providing the necessary information in a clear, precise and to the point.
- Analyzes the frequency of work accidents and occupational diseases and prepares reporting documents.
- Ensures the evidence of the equipment, the corresponding zoning, the timely performance by the competent persons of the verifications and / or periodic tests of the work equipment, according to the provisions of the Government Decision no. 1,058 / 2006 on the minimum requirements for improving the safety and health protection of workers who may be exposed to a potential risk due to explosive atmospheres.
- Resolves any complaints regarding breaches of occupational safety provisions. To the extent that these complaints go beyond his professional powers of resolution, he transmits them to the superior together with the proposals to remedy them or the effects produced by them, as well as proposals to avoid in the future the intervention of situations similar to those notified.
- Prepares the entire documentation regarding the obtaining of environmental permits, agreements and authorizations, as well as the environmental documentation necessary to obtain the forms of implementation of the different activities of the organization.
- Prepares and submits weekly / monthly / quarterly reports to his / her superior regarding his / her activity, as well as whenever he / she is requested to draw up such reports by his / her superior.
- Any other activities necessary / specific to ensure the safety and health of workers at work.
- Carries out any other work prevention and protection activities provided by the legislation in force.
- Ensures coordination and collaboration in optimal conditions with external prevention and protection services, with suppliers of LP equipment and materials, ambulance services, hospitals, firefighters, police, gendarmerie, civil security, labor inspection and the Department of Accidents at Work and Occupational Diseases , doctors / occupational medicine services, occupational safety and health institutions.
