​Qualifications and Experience:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
  • Higher education, English – at least Upper Intermediate/Advanced level
  • 2+ years of administration experience in a multi-national company
  • Sufficient knowledge and experience in payroll administration and some knowledge of Romanian Labour and tax legislation
  • Proficient in the use if MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively in large and small teams

Role Summary: Reporting to the HR Operations Manager on a day to day basis, you will work as part of the HR team contributing towards the achievement of HR goals. This will include HR Payroll and Administrative support across all areas of HR as well as implementation and deployment of key processes and other initiatives e.g. collation of HR information, report generation, update and data cleanse activity for the HR system and other key projects or activities that may be required.


Ensure that payroll is processed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy:

  • Interact directly with Payroll Software administrators and/or external service providers to resolve system related issues
  • Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests to payroll vendor and internal business partners
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information
  • Validate payroll entries and deductions
  • Coordinate payroll approvals for payments
  • Responsible for month end and post close payroll reporting
  • Calculate monthly payroll accruals and/or validate calculations by service provider
Other HR Administration activities which may include:
  • Responsible for the maintenance and provision of relevant HR Management data and information on a timely basis; including updating the HR databases with employee details
  • Co-ordination of Employee Inductions
  • Administration of employee benefits
  • Responsible for the leaver and starter process, supporting the Hiring Managers with on boarding
  • Ensure relevant paperwork and administration is prepared in time for payroll deadlines
  • Prepare change forms, employment confirmation letters, income certificates, training
  • Generation of headcount, employee and other reports
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety. Ensure necessary Health and Safety documents and processes are in place
  • Maintaining employee files in accordance with Romanian legislation and company policies
  • Maintain up to date employee information
  • Perform additional ad-hoc duties and other general HR administrative task as and when requested
