Gauge Planner

Job Requirements:

• Mechanical engineering bachelor’s diploma or other similar technical degree;
• At least 3 years experience in quality planning and/or tool/gauge planning;
• Strong knowledge of English, both spoken and written, German is an advantage;
• Cross departmental cooperation and alignment;
• Good knowledge of CAD systems (e.g. CATIA, NX);
• High level of general technical understanding (in particular, manufacturing processes and materials);
• Extensive knowledge of most important automotive standards;
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills, in particularly with overseas plants;
• Availability to travel to other JQ Plants;
• Customer-oriented;
• Work effectively in a team environment;
• Independent and cross-cultural;
• Driving license class B.

Responsibilities:

• Processes the quality requirements for test equipment in the context of customer requirements. Offers quality-related support of changes in the project;
• Creates the measurement and testing concepts;
• Plans test, including all necessary test equipment and preparation of the corresponding specifications/schedule;
• Participates in the steering of internal SC/CC characteristics in cooperation with the development and advanced quality engineer;
• Supports and implements the test equipment monitoring (maintenance of the database, creation of due lists, checking of results, scheduling, and disposition of test equipment);
• Prepares the analyses and reports on the use of test equipment;
• Organizes, monitors and evaluates the comparison measurements;
• Manages the measuring and test equipment;
• Tracks the quality-relevant measures regarding test concepts and test equipment;
• Manages further improvement of internal standards.
