What you will be doing:

Under supervisor’s direction, you will perform a broad range of financial reporting, across all areas of assigned responsibility. You will be in charge of data extraction, verification, formatting and computing as well as the design of management reporting dashboards that will accurately reflect the business evolution over a certain period. You will track trends, variations, aging and other relevant management reporting metrics on a wide variety of business functions, and will be required to make correlations and identify drivers of performance evolution on those metrics.

You will need to exercise sound judgment while analyzing and interpreting data to ensure a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness for business leaders, reconcile and analyze financial data and account balances to ensure the integrity of financial information relied upon by management and other financial analysts. Last but not least, you also assist in determining causes of problems within functional area and propose appropriate solution, seeking resources to resolve.

You will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, by initiating or supporting improvement projects for the enhancement, automation or standardization.

  • Posses advanced Excel and presentation skills
  • SAP, Tableau, Business Warehouse knowledge is an advantage
  • French, German or Spanish vocabulary is something we would love to see.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous relevant experience in accounting/finance.
  • Financial Reporting - Strong financial data reporting skills. Performs financial reporting requiring good mastering of extensive databases, verification of data sources, creation of meaningful dashboards and summaries that can support the business decision making process
  • Financial analysis: strong understanding of underlying financial data. Interprets and draws conclusions from financial / business information.
  • Process improvements: lean mindset required in order to set-up efficient reporting processes, standardize and improve the metrics across functions and locations.
  • Business acumen: is eager to understand the specifics of the business function that is impacted by /generating the reporting activity in order to produce meaningful reporting and analysis outcomes;
  • Planning and organizing: self-organized in achieving objectives and deadlines, displays time -management and prioritization skills.
  • Technical Skills - Proficient in ERP systems, business intelligence (BI) reporting solutions, MS Office 365 and other software applications and computer tools.
  • Technical Knowledge - In-depth knowledge of department system and procedures. Working knowledge of financial systems and procedures. In-depth knowledge of related corporate policies and procedures and applicable governmental rules and regulations. Proven understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and application for fairness and accuracy of reporting business/financial information.
  • Communication Skills - Expresses thoughts clearly and succinctly, both orally and in writing. Makes technical points understandable. Able to influence the direction of the process and to persuade others in areas of expertise. May be required to make presentations.
