Do you have?
  • Fluent English. Any other language is considered an advantage§University degree or internationally recognized professional qualification in Business, Finance or similar. Professional Qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) is an advantage
  • 3 years+ General Finance and accounting experience
  • Good knowledge and understanding of financial statements - Income Statement, Balance Sheet, cash flow, financial and business plans, budgets and financial reports.
  • Strong controlling/ accounting / financial analysis background, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • PC skills: MS Office, Internet, E-mails
  • IT literate with basic understanding of Business Intelligence software, ERP systems and financial consolidation tools (knowledge of Oracle and SAP, BPC would be advantageous).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good knowledge and understanding of financial statements.

Responsibilities, duties, and tasks:
  • Performs analyses of business performance versus BP, prior year and Ops forecast
  • Works with other finance professionals in Motion & Drives and the Sub-BU’s to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends, using the output data to make recommendations and improvements to processes, locally and at the BU level.
  • Support the CTD month end close processes, weekly BCR reporting, daily sales, backlog reporting, fixed asset management and necessary analysis.
  • Carry out month end tasks including reviewing preparing and posting journals for accruals and prepayments, payroll, miscoding etc.
  • Analyze the accounts in the TB and the costings impacting the month.
  • Validates accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliations and reviews
  • Work with MC Finance Manager on ERP and reporting tool projects.
  • Develops automated solutions by eliminating duplications and coordinating the information requirements, in order to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Ensures processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with MOEN and Motion & Drives requirements
