We are seeking a Development Test Engineer to join our Brasov team!
Desired Skills and Experience:
3/4years Engineering degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience;
Experience and knowledge in developing Labview applications according to Test Requirement Specification;
Work with Test Stand (National Instruments) in order to create automated test plans.
Knowlegde about Boundary Scan Technology (development and debug); JTAG Provision knowledge is a plus;
Developing hardware parts, CAD design and schematics;
Understanding of, and use of, University level technical writing, mathematical and statistical tools for equipment justifications, design of experiments and general engineering problem solving;
Understanding of electrical design principles;
Effective organization and prioritization skills;
Effective interpersonal skills;
Proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner;
Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required;
Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills;
Ability to work individually or in teams;
Participate in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format.
Role and Responsibilities:
Develops test systems and test processes on the production floor for existing and new products;
He is involved in the development strategy from the beginning having the possibility to choose the best testing strategy in order to achieve the requirements of our customers;
He will create the documentation for the hardware and software parts developed;
He will introduce the developed test systems into production, monitor the performance of the test systems and train the other engineers;
Our Development Test Engineers help develop continuous improvement plans for test and assist in continuous improvement implementation;
Work with the product and process groups as required reducing recurring manufacturing defects;
Demonstrate the ability to solve and document moderately complex cross-departmental issues using structured problem solving tools.
