We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy CFO – Tax, who will take a strategic leadership role within our finance department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of tax regulations and practices, specifically in areas related to SAP systems, tax declarations, transfer pricing, and a variety of other fiscal topics. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage complex tax compliance matters while implementing effective strategies that align with our financial goals. As Deputy CFO - Tax, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that our tax planning and compliance are optimized and in full compliance with the law. You will also play a critical part in advising company leadership on fiscal policy and the potential tax implications of business decisions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong analytical skills and the ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will bring a proactive approach to risk management and contribute significantly to the overall strategic direction of the organization through informed decision-making and tax optimization strategies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation, and submission of tax declarations and tax payments with the Romanian legislation.
- Follow up, inform, and set up tax changes within the company
- Implement, document, and monitor transfer pricing strategies and policies to support business objectives.
- Advise senior management on tax planning opportunities and regulatory changes affecting the organization.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure adherence to international and local tax laws.
- Develop and maintain efficient processes and systems related to tax management within the SAP environment.
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial reports to ensure accurate tax treatments and compliance.
- Lead tax audits and negotiate with tax authorities when necessary to resolve disputes.
- Set up tools to make reliable fiscal reporting and optimize fiscal forecasts.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, specifically within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP systems and experience in managing tax-related processes in SAP.
- Proven expertise in transfer pricing regulations and documentation requirements.
- In-depth understanding of local and international tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and senior management.
