Minimum requirements:
Only applicants who fulfill the bellow minimum requirements will be considered
  • ​Completed studies in: management / civil / roads / engineering or architecture;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Contract Manager, Quantity Surveyor and/or other functions that fulfill the Contract management attributes;
  • Knowledge of national and international construction contracts (minimum HG 1 and FIDIC versions);
  • With proven experience of drafting and/or participating in the drafting of: Claims notices, Claims substantiations, drafting responses to the received Claims, applications for variations/modifications and contract correspondence.
  • The position requires travelling – one week in Bucharest with one week in other location.
Ideal candidate, will fulfill the above minimum requirements plus will possess:
  • Knowledge and/or familiarized with the project construction operations/phases, construction contracts, with the analysis of time/cost implications required for claims, with the preparation of the cost variations and/or request to modify;
  • Preferable possess knowledge of Primavera and/or Microsoft Projects;
  • Very good know-how of MS Office;
  • Business communication in Romanian and English, spoken and written, with the knowledge of particular Technical and Legal terminology required for contracts;
  • Confident manner, negotiating skills and organizing abilities;
  • Willingness to travel;

Descrierea jobului

Attributions, without being limited to:
  • Collecting data and information, analysis of the time and/or cost impact details, drafting letters, claims, variations and other contract correspondence.
  • Support internal operatives within the post award – award – execution – closeout phases of the project, through the analysis on the tender documentation, by preparing and responding to clarifications, participating at the negotiation’s meetings, drafting the required letters during execution, drafting the variations, preparing the time and/or cost analysis for claims, etc.
  • issues claim notices, substantiate them, and also to respond to the claims received as per contractual requirements
  • organizes kick off meetings at project start, to highlight to the implementation team, the contractual risks and/or in order to familiarize them with the contractual conditions – Contract reading;
  • offers support on all types of contracts, on and of site, depending on requirements/necessities;
  • close cooperation with legal department including support to legal team in legal proceedings, if the case;
  • analyze and negotiate variation changes considering all the derived implications time/cost/resources and other related aspects;
