Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for leading at technical level the site transformation projects related to IoT.
Understand, lead and implement technical tasks for IoT projects being site connection to the Autoliv Group for the IoT tasks.
Ensure appropriate metrics/KPIs are accessible and visible. Works with the Plant / Functional Leadership teams to perform gap assessments on the Plant’s manufacturing system, create current and future state value stream maps, and develop Lean improvement plans and schedules. Identifies cost reduction projects through assessments, evaluations, and collaborative inquiries into line/process performance metrics and observations.
Leads cross functional teams through kaizen events for business processes.
Works with Team Leaders, AMG Leaders, IE, PQ and Maintenance to deploy improvement solutions including procedural changes, line modifications and other changes to process steps and/or equipment operation to ensure improvements are sustained in delivering results.
Lead and/or participate in time/load studies, process flow mapping, value stream mapping sessions, spaghetti diagram exercises, workload analysis, built in quality activity, 5S.
Mentor / develop the skills of candidates for future Lean Facilitators.
Execute the assigned deliverables from the Policy Deployment Plan. This includes the delivery of training and providing facilitation of kaizen and workshops for cross-functional teams.
Identify best practices and share with the AMG members for possible deployment in other teams within the site.
Participate in and/or lead the Gemba (“go and see”) activities with the AMG team.
Train Site on Lean Concepts.
