· Drive customer communication during critical events
· Follow-the-sun model with support sites located globally: No after hours on-call or mandated overtime in this role.
· Career development within AWS: We promote advancement opportunities including Senior Support Engineer, SME, Team Lead, and Technical Account Manager.
You are an expert on:
· Monitoring and/or Troubleshooting:
· OS Administration (Windows and/or Linux)
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Highly customer focused
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment
· Excited about technology
You will become an expert on (if not yet):
· Support / Troubleshooting
· Experience in Networking (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing)
· Experience in Database Administration (Oracle, SQL, MySQL)
· Experience in Programming / scripting
· Virtualization Technologies
· Cloud Computing concepts and Cloud Services
· Gain experience with AWS technologies
