• operative purchasing for the Switzerland serial demands (acc. to SAP requirements indirect and direct materials), surveillance of timely component deliveries, invoice clarification
• organization and coordination of all internal interfaces to ensure on-time billet-scrap roundtrips between RO/CH
• operative purchasing of internal and external billet demands for CH (incl. communication with production planning, finance/controlling, logistics, quality, and suppliers)
• setting up, negotiating, and concluding procurement contracts
• maintaining partnerships and correspondence with external and internal suppliers
• operational purchases and entering them into SAP, monitoring orders including delivery dates
• identifying suppliers, evaluating traditional suppliers, and proposing alternative suppliers
• monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on procurement activity
• actively working on and improving internal purchasing data quality
• supporting in improving on-site but also group-wide purchasing processes checking the documents related to the launched supply orders (invoices, quality, and compliance documents)
