Automation sales engineer

• Higher technical education, preferably in Industrial Automation;
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in implementing and/or operating automation and SCADA systems;
• Experience in programming PLC controllers (IEC61131) and commissioning automation systems;
• Experience using communication protocols: Modbus, EtherCAT, Profinet;
• Basic knowledge of the Linux operating system;
• Basic knowledge of Ethernet network structure, including cybersecurity aspects;
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and electrical schematics;
• Basic skills in designing electrical systems;
• Very good command of English (minimum B2/C1 level);
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel);
• Category B driver’s license.

• Provide technical support and consultancy to clients and the Romanian sales team for WAGO products, solutions, and systems dedicated to industrial automation;
• Analyze issues reported by clients to develop prompt and appropriate responses;
• Work to improve existing applications and develop new WAGO applications by analyzing and identifying areas requiring enhancements, in line with client needs;
• Organize and conduct training sessions as needed for project implementation;
• Collaborate with the marketing department, product management, and sales teams at national and global levels;
• Report activities in the company’s IT systems.
