For our Leroy Somer Division in Cluj we are looking for a dedicated professional to cover the role of Assistant to Factory Purchasing Manager with the following responsibilities:
• Assistance in preparing negotiations with suppliers: historical price/volume analysis; price comparisons with alternative suppliers; preparation of supplier performance data (Quality, delivery, etc)
• Ensure the correct supply of components for certain component families: compare factory forecasts and supplier order levels; communicate with materials planning department
• Analyze and measure supplier delivery, communicate performance to suppliers
• Follow up modifications in specifications and / or drawings.
• Update open / blanket order parameters to ensure the supply chain functions correctly
• Validate orders on a day to day basis, enter acknowledgements and update the Purchasing Information System
• Check conformance between volume ordered and delivered and update the Information System in association with Factory Material Planning systems
• Check orders against reception for correct and timely payment of invoices
• Miscellaneous administrative tasks to update the Information System: component/supplier approvals, pricing & delivery time data.
