Booking the monthly accounting documents in the accounting software according to the Romanian GAAP, tax legislation and internal policies
Booking the monthly accounting documents (vendor invoices, bank statements, travel reimbursement forms, petty cash statements) according to the Romanian GAAP, tax legislation and internal policies
Booking the monthly accruals
Preparing the monthly tax returns
Keeping and updating the Company’s fixed assets register
Managing the Fixed Asset procedure, policy and process
Reconciling the payable accounts, receivable accounts, bank statements
Ensure compliance with the internal policies and procedures
Ensures the timely and responsibly accomplishment of any other work and tasks required or assigned by the Manager (Supervisor)/Company’s Management.
To comply to all norms, procedures and Internal Policies that govern the processes and relationships within EXL Service Romania.
To attend regular training sessions held by the Company on topics related to health and safety at work (according to Law 319/2006) or any other topics/ matters necessary to carry out work within the Company

Good computer navigation skills
Strong PC skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly strong in MS Excel & Word are a critical requirement
Process Specific Skills
Knowledge of General Accounting Principle, applicable laws and regulations, inclusive tax
Basic data entry, records maintenance skills, account balancing and reconciling skills
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
Economy / Accounting Graduate with at least 15 years of education
Work Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years of work experience required within Accounting/bookkeeping.
