Application Support Specialist in Cluj-Napoca

Job requirements:

• Good knowledge of relational databases
• Ability to run queries on Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Good understanding of Windows operating system and networking protocols
• Ability to understand customer requirements and map to application functionalities
• Good analysis skills
• Troubleshooting
• Experience in a customer support environment
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word
• English fluency (intermediate-advanced level)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, hardworking, dedicated with a strong sense of accountability
• Computer engineering/ software programming / economical informatics college graduate
• Passionate about relational databases, software, and BI systems in general

Advantages, but not mandatory requirements:

• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources·
• Knowledge of SQL Server administration (basic level)
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Knowledge of various BI tools

Job responsibilities:

• Customer support with a high degree of customer satisfaction and technical expertise for software applications and BI software systems developed by Transart
• Acquiring, maintenance and expanding of the current knowledge of applications, support policies and support delivery methods
• Escalation of the problems to other teams when necessary
• Management and maintenance of multiple client interactions
• Software quality assurance processes involvement
• Documenting internal processes and analytical solutions in both Romanian and English language
