Ideal Candidate

In this position, our future colleague will operate as maintenance engineer you will provide assistance to the manufacturing team to achieve agreed performance in terms of quality, delivery and cost. Ensure the optimal operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production equipment, with a strong focus on electrical, electronic, and automation systems. Support production by integrating mechanical, electrical, and PLC-based solutions to increase efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience in a Electrical Process or Mechanical role
  • A leadership mentality & ability to prioritize autonomously.
  • A highly motivated self-starter and finisher who can work under pressure, but who will not compromise on quality
  • Like to bring innovation to your work, while having the capacity to analyze situations and provide solutions
  • Organized and always pay attention to details
  • Have strong analytical and technical skills and can collaborate well with diverse groups of people
  • Have Office 365 skills
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical abilities in production flows, people managing skills,
  • Experience with ERPs - Navision can be an advantage.
  • Strong level of English both written and spoken
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial electronics, and automation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of drives, motors, sensors, and control systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical components (pneumatics, hydraulics).

Job Description

Tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on electromechanical equipment, including electrical panels, sensors, drives, and PLC systems.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Schneider) and automation systems.
  • Analyze electrical schematics and implement corrective actions on electrical and control systems.
  • Maintain and improve automation processes (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical).
  • Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment with strong involvement in electrical integration.
  • Monitor and optimize machine performance using electrical and automation data.
  • Contribute to preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, especially for electrical and control components.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards.
  • Tracking and carrying out the tasks of the company's maintenance plan
  • To carry out breakdown diagnostics, repairs and corrective maintenance
  • To carry out maintenance checks and remedial repairs as defined by the Preventative maintenance systems.
  • Contribute to the development & implementation of the preventative maintenance system
  • Ensure engineering stores levels are maintained and reordered
  • To ensure that the production plan is achieved
  • Work closely with production to evaluate problems, implementing remedial solutions.
  • Propose improvements to the production process
  • Monitoring and reporting on the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.
