Junior QA Engineer

• Review requirements and user stories, turn them into concise test plans and check-lists.
• Execute manual functional, regression, and exploratory tests on web UIs, admin panels, and APIs.
• Validate background jobs and data pipelines by querying PostgreSQL and inspecting logs.
• Log clear, reproducible defects in modern tools like Jira and follow them through re-test and closure.
• Own the release sign-off: verify build artifacts, migration scripts, and smoke tests.
• Pair with developers to refine acceptance criteria and prevent defects early.
• Contribute to and maintain our TestRail (or similar) repository of test cases.
• Suggest small automation wins (e.g., Postman collections, browser scripts) to speed up repeats.
• Add test data or client requested data inside the platform.

• 6+ months of manual testing experience on web applications.
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, cookies/sessions, and common browser dev-tools.
• Comfort using basic SQL queries and REST operations to validate data integrity.
• Experience with one test case management tool (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, etc.) and Jira.
• Clear written defect reports and confident spoken English.

• Basic automation (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress) for smoke or regression suites.
• API testing with Postman or Insomnia.
• Familiarity with AWS environments (S3, CloudWatch logs) or CI pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Interest in ESG and carbon accounting.
