Citronex is one of the greatest centres in Europe dealing with banana distribution and import. Currently, we are employing 300 qualified employees and we are an unquestioned leader in banana import in this part of Europe. We deal with banana import, transport and sale most of all for hypermarket network in Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Germany.

Taking care of the best quality of bananas, the company has entered into cooperation with producers in South Africa. We have quality certificates: EUREPGAP, ISO 9001:2000 and RAINFOREST which, taking care of the unique ecosystem, enforces eco-friendly growing manners in plantations and full benefits for the employees.

Every week in Ecuador, Colombia and Costa Rica over 130 thousand cartons of highest-quality bananas are loaded to ships and later they get to the greatest harbours in Europe, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam and Antwerp and Gdańsk. After quality control, the bananas are transported in lorries to Zgorzelec, where they undergo ripening process.
