Procter & Gamble is a multinational company producing more than 300 brands that serves 5 billion consumers in over 160 countries. These brands include Ariel, Always, Camay, Pampers, Pantene, Blend-a-Med, Old Spice, Head & Shoulders, Max Factor, Pringles, Wella and since 2004, Gillette. P&G employs more than 130000 people.
Procter & Gamble started its activity in Romania in 1993 and in 1995 it acquired the manufacturing plant in Timisoara, for 4 million dollars. More than 61 million dollars were invested since then in new standards, modern technology and capacity increase projects. Procter & Gamble Timisoara has now 300 full time employees, striving to produce, offer support or distribute our products: Ariel, Tide, Bonux, Ace and Fairy. As part of its strategy of sustainable development in Romania, Procter&Gamble has built on a “green field” a new hair care products plant in Urlati, Prahova. Over 300 people are working in the new plant which represents an investment of over USD 100 mil. The new production plant is designed to produce shampoo and conditioner – Pantene, Head&Shoulders, Wash&Go.
