During my university years, a diverse set of courses provided me with a strong footing in the theoretical concept of Systems and Computers Engineering. In the same period, I developed an interest for embedded software engineering. I chose to start my career in the latter domain, in the role of embedded software engineer at Continental Automotive Systems, Electronic Braking Systems department. In pursuit of an assignment which has more affinity with control engineering, and more in-line with my educational background, I joined the Engine Control Systems department at DAF Trucks in 2010. Throughout my professional experience at DAF I focused on developing and testing engine control functionalities, with the use of Model Based Design methodologies and tooling. Among others, in my new role I encountered various control engineering problems, due to the multitude of controllers present in the engine ECU. During these experiences, I’ve created a long lasting professional network based on professionalism, good communication skills, respect, and a constant drive to improve. Following my passion for control engineering, I would like to share my embedded engineering expertise and my knowledge of control systems towards the next step in my professional career. My educational background and professional experiences have prepared me to quickly adapt to new technical challenges, while my personal goals and experiences have given me the tools to empower efficient communication, maintain high degree of autonomy, and stay enthusiastic while chasing my objectives.
