Led multi-disciplinary team through the project life cycle from front end engineering design, detailed

Managed client expectations through the development of a one team approach, working in unison

 Oil Sands Cogeneration Feasibility Study, AB
I was responsible with the front-end engineering and supported the client's development team during
a detailed feasibility assessment for a cogeneration project at a major oil sands mining and extraction
project in Northern Alberta.
My scope of work included assessment of potential combustion technologies and fuel characteristics,
definition of the heat and power cycle, evaluation of emission control requirements and best available
control technologies, conceptual plant design, and preparation of Basis of Design documentation.
Capital and operating cost estimates were also developed to support preparation of the client's
business case.
 CFB Comox, BC - IPSC Building, BC. Project involved the construction of Integrated Personnel
Support Centre (IPSC) located in a military garrison. My scope of work included all civil and municipal
works required to complete the design package. I was responsible with front end engineering, project
management, sewer design, parking design, grading plan and demolition plan including
specifications.
 CFB Wainwright, AB - Assessment of Combined Sanitary and Storm Water System. Prepare a
condition assessment report including a CCTV survey inspection for the 8621 meters of combined
sewer pipe network and classify them accordingly, following NASSCO defect coding system.
 CP Railway, PoCo, BC – Civil/Structural Assessment. Provide civil-structural assessment for an
existing mezzanine level and a new building addition (Radio Shop Building).
 CFB Wainwright, AB - Purple Route. Purple Route is located on the military base in Wainwright,
Alberta. Developed full set of construction documents to design a new drainage system and provide
engineering services to repair the existing route.
 SEASPAN - Vancouver Shipyard Modernization Project, DNV, BC. Project is on-going. Project
involves the preparation of a Stormwater Management Plan, design of access roads, parking lots and
service connection and upgrading the existing Sanitary Lift Stations.
 CFB Wainwright, IPSC Building, AB. This project involved the construction of Integrated Personnel

 Edmonton Health Care Facility, AB The project serves as a Health Care Service Centre with a
building area of approximately 6000 m2 .Total combined project value: 150 million. Project involved
the preparation of a Stormwater Management Plan, design access roads, parking lots and service
connection for the new Health Care Services Centre.
 Finning – Mildred Lake, AB The existing yards are subjected to heavy mine-haul equipment
(including Cat 797F Mining Trucks). These trucks have extreme loads with Gross Machine Operating
Weights (fully loaded) in the order of 600t. Severe ground disturbance (rutting) has occurred at the
sites due to heavy equipment traffic over the yard surfaces. The civil scope of work was to prepare
structural ground rehabilitation and reconstruction plan for the existing yards such that it promotes
positive drainage and can provide additional support for traffic, yard operations and storage. Total
project value: 6 million.
 Finning – Fort McMurray, AB Prepare a rehabilitation and reconstruction plan for the existing yard
such that it promotes positive drainage and can provide additional support for traffic, yard operations
and storage. Total project value: 20 million.
 Keyera Energy ADT-FSPL Connector Pipeline, AB
I was responsible with providing detailed engineering services to Alberta Diluent Terminal LP (ADT)
for the ADT-FSPL Connector Pipeline project. The first phase included the construction of two high
vapour pressure (HVP) pipelines, approximately 2,500m in length, and the associated pigging
facilities to transport product from the Westcan Transport Ltd. property to the existing ADT pipeline
network.
 Pump Station 1 Piping Reroute, AB
Utilized project management skills to provide leadership in coordinating multi-discipline offices to
meet project scope. Led engineering professionals to design and produce IFC drawings. Managed
client expectations through negotiating and consultation with the client. Managed project budget and
costs.
 Kelowna BC Transit, BC Project included delivery of four conceptual designs of lot layouts for
varying configurations of expanded lot and fleet compositions, with AutoTURN simulation.
Reconfiguration was made to optimize utilization of existing site and expansion property; while
maintaining flexibility to accommodate current and future vehicles and operations.
 Utility Corridor FMF Cape Breton, BC.
The project included developing an excavation plan for the construction of the utility corridor along
Rainbow Road and Hospital Drive, CFB Cape Breton, BC, Canada.
I was responsible with all the civil excavation works including relocation of the existing utilities, frontend
engineering and project management such as, project initiation, coordination between disciplines,
manage changes to the project scope and schedule, and project close up. Total project value: 200

GRUP ROMET - JUNG PUMPEN – HST Hydro Systemtechnik (Romania)
Project Manager September 2009 February 2011

 Parau/Grid wastewater treatment plant
This two wastewater treatment plants were a series of four plants constructed by Grup Romet on
behalf of the design-builder HST Hydro Systemtechnik, and the local authorities, the plant’s owner.
I was responsible with project and client coordination, front end engineering, project and construction
management. Total project value: 0.4 million Euro


GENIVAR (Vancouver, Canada)
Engineer January 2006 to August 2009 and March 2010 to May 2011

 North Fraser Pretrial Centre (BC). This project involved the addition of a 2-storey building with a
building area of approximately 968 m2 and a total floor area of approximately 1,250 m2. The scope of
work included utilities connection to Port Coquitlam network grid, comprising of storm water, sewage,

water and also preparing an erosion and sediment control plan for the construction phase. The design
had to meet LEED-NC Gold standard
 Extended Asset Condition Reporting for First Nations (ACRS), BC (2011) This project included
mapping and GIS works for over 20 First Nations reserves in the South-Western Mainland region of
BC, as well as the review of First Nations’ Maintenance Management Plans (MMP) and overall O&M
performance for Water and Wastewater, road inspections and infrastructure evaluation. Assessments
were recorded to an in-house developed database for submission to INAC. Client: Indian and
Northern Affairs Canada. Project Value: $580K
 Athabasca Drive, Richmond, BC (2007): Redesigning the existing curbs and gutter lines, calculate
the minimum drainage slopes and readjust road cross section as necessary.
 TransLink
o Port Coquitlam Transit Centre, Port Coquitlam, BC: Corrosion assessment to existing
underground water mains.
o West Vancouver Transit Centre, West Vancouver, BC: Oil interceptor upgrade.
 Musqueam Olympic Band (Development Lot 268), Vancouver BC: Design of a new bus loop and
the afferent access road. Provided cost evaluation and site reports. Client: Musqueam Indian Band.
 CBSA Radiation Portals – DeltaPort, Vanterm and Centerm, Metro Vancouver, BC: Utilities
Service (2008-2010): Design and drafting of civil site plans, detailed plans, profiles, sections and
details. Submitted drawings for client review, tender and construction. Prepared record drawings for
civil, electrical and structural disciplines. Provided construction support via change notices and
sketches: Client: PWGSC
 First Nation Band Nanaimo, BC : prepare calculations and work sheets designing for Storm, Water
and Sanitary Lines.
 David Lam Park, Vancouver, BC Vancouver BC: Site Inspections, drainage design and flow
calculations.
 Rio Tinto Alcan Inc – ABB Substation upgrade Kitimat, BC (2008): Project included;
modernisation of aluminum smelter, design/relocation of major underground electrical duct banks with
sizes varying from 1 x 1 m to 6 x 3 , (width x height). Design of a new 300 mm D.I. water mains and
750mm concrete storm sewer by preparing flow calculations and design sketches. Design of a high
load access road to the rectifier building and relocation of existing sewer mains. Engaged in client
meetings with construction management team for trade coordination and value engineering reviews.
 Surrey Sports and Leisure Centre, Surrey, BC (2008): Relocation of 300mm water line, designed a
new 450mm dia storm line. Designed sediment and siltation ponds. Provided construction field
activities which included witnessing pressure tests, inspections, trouble shooting, providing technical
direction to field personnel and project start-up. Client: City of Surrey.
 Trans Mountain Pipeline, Burnaby Mountain Terminal, BC (2006): Involved slope stability
calculations, re-grading and sub-grade modifications for Tank Bays.
 Canada Line, Vancouver and Richmond, BC. (2006 – 2008). Various assignments, including:
Design and relocate major utilities due to impact of station box (including roads, power,
communication, sewer and water) and design under slab drainage system for all Canada Line
Stations. Included construction field inspections. Project management assistance with project
justifications, cost estimates and schedules, budgeting and tracking, scheduling and quality
requirements. Review/coordinate geotechnical reports including differential settlement of stations.
Engaged in client meetings with Construction Management Team for trade coordination and value
engineering reviews. Coordination with other disciplines and clients. Client: SNC Lavalin, Vancouver.
 Vancouver Transit Centre, Vancouver, BC.
Involved with the design of approx. 15,000m² expansion parking lots for Vancouver Transit Centre.
My work included design and monitoring of the erosion and sediment control plan, design and
