- Support Timken's strategy: 'Grow Around the Bearing' by managing the purchasing activities for Buy Brand Sell products assigned from Timken manufacturing plants & external suppliers (industrial and automotive) across Timken European warehouse: Strasbourg for AM sales such as : Induction Heaters, Hydraulic & Mechanical Pullers, Impact Fitting tools ; grease , Lubricators , bonded, assembled, split seals , bearing isolators; o-rings; V-seals and Bonded lip Seals, installation tools ;
- Assure maintenance between the end customer’s demands, our forecast, safety stock and the supply from our sources.
- Improve customer service goals by optimizing inventory across distribution network;
- Control purchase orders placements and adjustments, substitutions, validate forecast and safety stock and reviewing with demand/inventory planning;
- Reduce inventory and maximize customer service levels by optimizing distribution of safety stock;
- Manage exception messages, proactively review (potential) stock-out-parts in order to reduce unnecessary out-of-stock situations;
- Maximize the profitability of slow-moving items by optimizing their planning methods;
- Take appropriate action to get product in (expedites with the plant, ESC, sweeps, repack etc.); proactive Purchase order book review, chase NAR, etc.
- Improve responsiveness to changes in customer demand do the customers get what they want, when they want by working efficiently with plants and warehouses facilities in order to ensure right amount of product, at the right time, in the right place
- Sweep products when there are inventory imbalances;
- Managing the MRP system to ensure all resourcing requirements are delivered in accordance with need
- Analyzing and interpreting research data; deploying knowledge to the organization, conduct analysis and research concluding with making recommendations for the appropriate planning strategy for each component as needed;
- Understand the forecast requirements and discuss supply and demand issues on a monthly cycle, as well as actively participate on engineering and sales teams meetings to understand key project time lines, process changes and regulatory requirements;

- Responsible for testing and implementing new business processes and new enterprise resource planning system 'one software' program: 'SAP' to all Timken factories from North America and Europe.

New ABC classification
- Analyze and implement the new ABC classification for all range of products based on market demands within SAP

Zero ATP for A parts
- Involved to reduce ATP for all Europe distribution customers in Strasbourg warehouse
