Werner Electric was founded nearly 100 years ago by Dr. Eng. Wilhelm Werner, in the year 1910. Since its inception Werner Electric has developed from its smallest beginnings as a one man sales company who was supplying electrical products mainly to the shipbuilding industry in northern Germany to a leading global player in the field of high quality products for all kinds of LV Switchgear, Industrial Automation and Control Technologies.

The key to our global success is the fact, that we still follow the values and concepts left to us by our founder. Mr. Wilhelm Werner had already in the early days of evolvement of his company managed to build a team of hand selected heads around him and sworn them in and trained them to "Think revolutionary but act evolutionary."

Right now we are in the process of setting up Werner owned International Industry Competence Centers (WIICC) in most countries of the world which will then be branched out by locally serving Industrial Competence Centers in the major regions of any given country. With that system under establishment, we are aiming to provide even better service and support to our global industrial clients.
