NOC Monitoring Engineer

Requirements:
1. Good general overview and understanding of the network its elements and interconnections. Good understanding of operating procedures.
2. Good general knowledge of Trouble ticketing, understanding of alarm descriptions and familiarity with alarm handling.
3. Able to work shift to cover 24x7.
4. Able to communicate in English
5. Able to work under pressure.
Experience:
1. Some experience in this or similar role would be preferred but job could suite a Junior Engineer (Fresh Graduate) level or Technician level with 1 or 2 years experience.

Location: East Europe
Responsibilities:
1. Record various network events.
2. Follow up on open faults to meet network performance KPIs.
3. Record faults and escalate where and when necessary.
4. Liaise with the customer’s Front Office staff as well as Customer Care, Back Office and Field Service staff.
