Radio Access Network Support Engineer

•University with Specialty Computers, Electronics/Telecommunication;
•Knowledge about Microsoft Products, Unix;
•Technical knowledge in Telecommunication, Networks and Protocols (including VoIP, SS7, IMS, CDMA, 3G);
•Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills required to serve diverse customer complaints and deal effectively with escalating issues;
•Familiar with CDMA, HSDPA and HSUPA parameters and functionality;
•Relevant experience in Telecom Technical Support or similar field preferably in a wireless environment;
•Good knowledge of Site integration and Trouble shooting of problems;
•At least 2 years experience in troubleshooting Radio Access Network;
•Strong knowledge of RF propagation fundamentals including the use of planning tools and model optimization.
•Fluency in English

•Establishes the priority of problems and requests to meet the Inter-departmental Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements;
•Shares knowledge with less experienced peers or have high collegial interaction;
•Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel;
•Creates and maintains documentation on technical procedures within a technical Knowledge Base application;
•Participate at training sessions and demonstrations together with Technical Department and other Departments;
•Active role in installation and/or commissioning and/or integration, network expansion activities, SW maintenance activities, technical acceptance testing when necessary;
•Active role in basic technical support tasks, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting;
•Work with performance group for enhancing the network performance as Changing Radio Parameters;
•Work closely with MSC Technical Support Engineer for implementing new applications in the network or for the customers in order to ensure the interoperability of all systems;
•Helps O&M Team in order to maintain a high quality service and security along the entire network lifetime.
