QUALITY ENGINEER

Minimum:

5 years experience in Quality Assurance area in Automotive D&D
Good knowledge of Automotive SPICE and/or CMMI, ISO TS16949 standards
Basic understanding of hardware, embedded software, mechanical and product engineering
Presentation skills.
PC operation (Word, Excel, etc).

Preferabil:

Experience with instrument clusters and/or body electronics
Very good knowledge in at least on of the engineering areas (hardware, embedded software, mechanical and product engineering)
Certified internal auditor for ISO TS16949
Experience in dealing with customers

RESPONSABILITIES:

Issue and update the Quality Assurance Plan together with the Project Team.
He/she is a member of the project team, supporting the Product Design Leader in issues related to Quality Assurance aspects.
Perform Quality specific activities following the ISOTS 16949 requirements:
•Participate at the development of the procedures from Quality Management System
•Participate at system, process, product audit , as required
•Issue and follow up periodically the corrective and preventive action plans
•Collecting key process indicator data and reports preparation
Perform Quality specific activities following Quality Assurance plan:
•Organize and conduct regular audits before Milestones Reviews
•Issue and update periodically the corrective and preventive action plans following reviews
•Quality reporting including status of Quality Assurance Plan and Corrective/Preventive actions plan
Champion for customer claims analysis and response to claims
Support the manufacturing facility to successfully introduce a product and to take it to mass production.
Participate at DFMEA activities.
Initiate continuous improvement and innovation from a quality perspective.
To act as a mentor for the less experienced Quality engineers in the department.
Co-ordinate and arrange customer audits - Yazaki’s key contact for audit activities carried out by our customers. This includes local co-ordination of all activities, including all internal preparation activities
Participate in quotation activities with sub-suppliers. This means to assess supplier’s quality systems and assuring that they are sufficient and suitable for Yazaki’s needs and requirements.
