Technical Analyst (Java)

We are looking for graduates or experienced candidates to join our team as a Technical Analyst.

A good degree and background in - Computing, Maths or Engineering and practical experience of IT, data manipulation or business systems will be an advantage. A good communicator with excellent English, a flexible approach and good problem solving skills is what we are looking for.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

The role is technical oriented involving configuration of files, some database development using SQL and problem solving. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Acting as the main contact to escalate and resolve technical issues
Responding to technical queries from the helpdesk
Assisting with testing for enhancement work and interfaces
Supporting users of the system by email, and phone
Data enhancements
Change control for technical enhancements
Environment control
Communicating with client to implement change requests and bug fixes
Maintain issues log

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent exposure to software systems
• Excellent English language skills, written and spoken
• Exposure to Java, and SQL.
• MS Office: Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Optional:

• MS Access skills
• Excellent/Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of XML / JavaScript would be advantageous.
