X-Steel Designer

Profile of the candidate:

• university degree - Mechanical Engineering
• knowledge of Tekla Structures 16.0 software
• being fluent in writing and speaking English
• consistent and accurate in working and thinking methods
• capability to set goals and respect tight deadlines

Function description of X-Steel designer:

• main part of modeling concentrates on high voltage lattice steel pylons. Insight of titled working planes and titled profiles are demanded
• converting conventional 2D drawings into 3D, ACAD wire models into complete 3D X-Steel models
• working in lead design, detail modeling and drafting
• checking of structural fabrication, material handling and equipment supports
• process of generating and managing assembly drawings and workshop drawings in X-Steel

Engineering Office Fortan B.V. is a Dutch design and consultancy firm and is
specialized in technical services at the highest level.

The activities of Fortan are designing industrial installations such as complex
steel constructions for onshore and offshore projects, plants for drying sludge biomass,
bulk handling projects, piping of process installations etc.

Engineering Office Fortan B.V. has an office in Chisinau where at this moment a group of young, mechanical engineers successfully designs projects using a modern computer network and advanced design applications.

Because of long term contracts with Dutch significant companies Fortan B.V. decided to restart and develop engineering office in Bucuresti.
