Live Intake Operatives
Hours of Work (Monday – Friday) 5:55am – 2.25pm
Remuneration:£5.63 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £6.12 when fully trained
Job Description:
Working in a busy department, duties will include handling live birds before slaughter, loading/unloading crates of birds, cleaning wagons and crates.

Evisceration (EV) Operatives (Meat processing)
Hours of Work (Monday – Friday) 6.05am – 2.35pm
Remuneration: £5.48 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £5.61 when fully trained
Job Description:
Working in a busy department, duties will include handling birds just after slaughter, cleaning/processing the birds ready for packing.

Trussing Operatives (Meat processing)
Hours of Work (Monday – Friday) 6.20am – 2.50pm
Remuneration:£5.35 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £5.48 when fully trained
Job Description:
Working in a busy department, duties will include preparing birds for packing, placing an elastic band around the bird to keep legs/wings in place, placing on trays, moving racks.

Tray wrap Operatives (Meat processing)
Hours of Work (Monday – Friday) 7:30am – 4.00pm
Remuneration:£5.35 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £5.48 when fully trained
Job Description:
Working in a busy packing department, duties will include packing birds for retail orders, tipping birds onto lines, placing birds onto trays, wrapping, labelling, boxing, weighing and palletising.
