Windows .Net Mobile Engineer

Required Experience

• Expert on Visual Studio .Net Mobile and the latest related tools, APIs, debuggers, compilers
• Expert in C# and C++
• Previous experience in implementing in the Windows Mobile SDK is required
• Knowledge to build Metro style apps for Windows 8 is a plus
• Knowledge on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SVG skills to build on top of native applications for Windows is a plus
• Knowledge on other APIs like Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, SkyDrive is a plus
• Extensive UI programming and prior experience in writing tablet apps for other platforms in which the candidate had a lead or major role during development (apps will be reviewed by Kno for design, UI, sophistication and stability)
• Experience with core areas of Windows programming such as memory management, asynchronous programming, image and text processing
• Strong skills in designing innovative UI solutions
• 4+ years’ experience in commercial application programming in (C++, C#, .Net)
• Experience with client-server application architectures
• Ability to deliver on time working in a fast paced agile start-up environment
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Experience
• Experience with mobile applications
• Experience with HTML5 and media applications
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience with the Scrum development process

• Build UI and application logic for our revolutionary eReader application on the Windows 8 OS
• Engage in UI design and reviews
• Participate in product definition with Product management and interaction design
• Participate in the design of client-server protocols used by our apps
