| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Responsibilities:
A Warranty Consultant is responsible for warranty cost control through the completion of:
• Root Cause Warranty Reviews in dealerships in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Warranty Root Cause Review Manual.
• Step 1 review Dealers support services.
• Corrective Action Plan evaluation and follow-up.
• Regional "Help Desk" dealer support.
• Dealer and NSC Training
• Coordinate "proactive" process for allocated region.
• Conduct Dealer Standards Audits
Specific position responsibilities include:
Conduct In-Dealership actions in a professional, consultative manner to
• Evaluate individual Dealer repair workshop and administrative procedures
• Identify root cause process deficiencies driving abnormal warranty performance
• Determine whether inappropriate dealer practices exist
• Evaluate supporting documentation control and storage processes
• Work with Dealership management to develop corrective actions designed to improve identified
process deficiencies
Functions:
• Recognize the effectiveness of warranty procedures and impact on customer satisfaction
• Be familiar with dealer service reception practices, and technician productivity/efficiency measurements
• Understand dealer mechanical workshop/body shop operating practices and warranty control methods
• Understand the '5 Step Warranty Counselling Process' and the measurement tools used to identify dealers with adverse profiles and trends. Be able to investigate high repair incidence and recommend corrective action
• Recommend to dealers process improvements actions in their mechanical/bodyshop service reception and workshop repair practices to achieve high levels of technician productivity/efficiency, customer satisfaction and conform to warranty control methods.
• As required liaise with the Regional Warranty Operations Management / Market Coordinators in the selection and conduct of Company audits and provide dealer management with guidance in the post-audit follow-up process.
• Undertake Warranty & Policy business tasks as required.
