Senior Engineer, Radio Frequency

- University degree in Electronics and telecommunications or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years experience in telecommunications (preferably in radio communication domain)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Well organized and structured person
- Driving license

Role:

Provides design and implementation consultancy for RF coverage and capacity issues. Performs varied amount of complex assignments / projects requiring a sound expertise in technical engineering and project management. Makes use of advanced optimization / troubleshooting methods for improving RF network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Performs advanced in-depth troubleshooting and optimization of the RF sites. Uses combination of tools and methods to solve network/design problems. Provides consultancy to team members for removing roadblocks.
- Observes discrepancies, trends, and interrelationships in data. Sees crucial differences between current situation and things that have happened before. Recognizes fundamental problems and communicates them to management.
- Optimizes the RF access network through periodically monitoring of performance statistics, BSS information collection and analysis.
- Investigates degradation in RF site performance, breaks down problems, validates causes and solutions; cooperates with O&M in advanced troubleshooting of HW & SW equipment issues.
- Interfaces with other departments to provide technical consultancy and support. Performs special requests.
- Conducts special projects / trials of moderate scope and complexity, involving RAN; makes use of project management skills to deliver top quality results.
- Proactively ensures coaching and training for team members according to the identified individual needs and personal area of expertise.
